Clear QPR MotM Against Ipswich From These Stats But Do You Agree

|

Head coach Steve McClaren took his Queens Park Rangers boys to Portman Road on Saturday to face off against Ipswich Town.

An early first-half own goal credited their goalkeeper Dean Gerken gave us the lead and Tomer Hemed tied the points up in stoppage time before the halftime break from the penalty spot as he bagged our second.

The scoreline could’ve been greater with good chances coming in the second period but with some worries the October international break may have got in the way of our small momentum, the game makes it three undefeated which will please everyone.

With a number of good performances on the day, WhoScored narrowly gave Joel Lynch their star man rating for his efforts from the game.

Ebere Eze took second spot with 7.71 and undoubtedly had he got his name on the scoresheet he would’ve piped his colleague. Geoff Cameron came third with 7.47, Hemed 7.40 fourth and Angel Rangel fifth with 7.30.

Again pleasingly Toni Leistner’s more recent good form seems to be continuing on a productivity front as he took sixth with 7.10.

More positives than negatives maybe, and based on chance creation we definitely deserved all three points but we can still improve further and that will no doubt be the aim.
