Queens Park Rangers have captured the signature of highly-rated Championship midfielder, Jordan Cousins.

The 22-year-old moves from Charlton Athletic for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £1.5m – penning a three-year deal in W12.

The enterprising young midfielder won back to back Player of the Year awards at The Valley and managed to rack up 136 appearances despite his tender age.

Cousins has netted seven times, including a neat finish at Loftus Road last term.

Manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink told ‘When I arrived here, I spoke at length about the kind of players I wanted to attract to QPR – and Jordan fits that bill exactly.

‘He’s young, he’s hungry, he’s got Championship experience and he’s got great potential to keep on improving at QPR.

‘I am absolutely delighted he’s a QPR player and can’t wait to start working with him.’

He joins Ariel Borysiuk, Joel Lynch and Jake Bidwell through the door at Loftus Road in a productive summer thus far for Rangers.
