Champions League winner Julio Cesar has arrived at Loftus Road for talks ahead of a potential move to W12.

The 32-year-old Brazilian international has two years left on his deal at Inter Milan but has been allowed to open talks with QPR ahead of the impending transfer deadline.

Cesar has been rumoured for the best part of a week, with rumours further still that he could go straight into the side to replace Rob Green – a goalkeeper that has had an unsteady start to life at Loftus Road.

Cesar is capped 64 times by Brazil and is highly-regarded in Italy where he won five Serie A titles, three domestic cups and the Champions League in 2010 under Jose Mourinho.

QPR will hope to have a deal tied up for the shot-stopper ahead of this weekend’s trip to Manchester City, with the promise of first-team football luring the ‘keeper away from the San Siro.
