DJ Campbell could be set for a return to Blackpool according to reports today – reuniting with ex-boss Ian Holloway.

The QPR front-man has seen his time in W12 beset with injuries and bad luck, culminating in being left out of Rangers pre-season tour of Asia.

Nevertheless he has maintained form, most recently scoring twice in a victory over non-league Hampton & Richmond – conceding however his future may lie elsewhere.

The Daily Mail are today reporting that Blackpool could be back in for the self-professed Rs fan.

A fee of £1m has been outlined by the paper which is close to what Rangers paid the Tangerines in the first instance for his services.

One goal from Campbell in the crushing win over Wolverhampton Wanderers is all he has to his name after a succession of injuries saw him fall behind Djibril Cissé and Bobby Zamora in the pecking order.

The respective arrivals of Andy Johnson and Junior Hoilett has rather served to settle any doubt and Campbell could once again link up with former QPR boss Holloway.
