Camp Leaves Rangers

Lee Camp has signed for Nottingham Forest on loan until January.

The R`s stopper who was on the bench for the R`s against Forest on Saturday moves to the City Ground in search of first team football.

He will battle it out with Paul Smith for the number 1 jersey at Forest.

Camp`s future has remained in doubt at Loftus Road ever since the R`s swooped for former Tottenham Hotspur keeper Radek Cerny in the summer. Since then Lee has found the going tough, with only a solitary League Cup appearance against Swindon Town to his name.

Taking a pay cut to sign for the R`s at the start of last season, Camp was a stalwart in John Gregory`s side that firstly avoided relegation, then flourished under the reign of Luigi De Canio – notably saving Paul Gallagher`s penalty away at Preston North End in a priceless 0-0 draw.

The England Under 21 international played in the first game at the new Wembley against Italy Under 21`s – he makes way providing an opportunity for Jake Cole or Reece Crowther to take to the bench on Tuesday night.
