Akos Buzsaky believes that the Southampton game a week on Sunday may be too soon for him to return to competitive action.

Speaking following his 45 minutes against Charlton reserves yesterday, Buzsaky was coy concerning his chances of a swift return,

“It`s not easy to come back after four months” Buzsaky told QPR.co.uk

“I need a few games to play, but every single day I feel better I feel fitter. Today I played 45 minutes and hopefully step by step I`ll be back in a few weeks time I think”

“I`m training fully with the first team and from now it`s up to the gaffer when he thinks I`m ready for first team football.”

“I would love to play against Southampton, it`s two weeks time and it`s not a long time to be back, and I`d only play one more game in the reserves, so that`s probably not realistic.”

Buzsaky had a niggling ankle injury during the close season which required surgery, and subsequently he has worked tirelessly along with fellow long term injured Ranger, Rowan Vine, to get back to full fitness.

Rangers play Southampton live on Sky Sports on Sunday, September 14, and will look to maintain their 100% home record in both league and cup.
