Brazilian legend Romario is the latest in a long line of managers being linked with the vacant post in W12.

Another day, another rumour and this time it`s 43-year-old former Brazilian international and World Cup winner Romario.

It seems at present anybody with or without a job is being linked with a move to Loftus Road and this latest development comes from The Sun newspaper.

While they title their article with the fact he could be in line for the managerial role in W12 the article itself suggests a more ambassadorial role as Rangers look to forge links in Brazil.

According to the newspaper Briatore is keen to set up links in South America and Romario could be the ideal ambassador.

A source close to the Brazilian said: “Briatore wants a man who will put QPR on the football map.”

The newspaper also throw former West Ham United and Charlton Athletic boss Alan Pardew`s name into the frame.

Probably the first and only time Alan Pardew and Romario are ever mentioned in the same breath.
