GLASGOW Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra has been linked with a possible summer move to QPR

The Algerian international has impressed in spells at Ibrox with Neil Warnock reportedly sending scouts to watch the defender at the weekend.

The Daily Mail have reported therefore that Queens Park Rangers are eyeing a £1m swoop for the former Sheffield Wednesday man.

Bougherra could be looking to move south of the border once more after refusing to sign a new deal with the ‘Gers.

The defender made his name with Crewe Alexandra before moving to Sheffield Wednesday. Charlton Athletic then paid £2.5m for his services in 2007.

In the summer of 2008 he moved to Glasgow Rangers for the same fee while also having the accolade of being named Man of the Match in a Champions League draw against Manchester United.
