Queens Park Rangers confirmed yesterday that midfielder Ariel Borysiuk had now departed Loftus Road for the last time.

The 26 year old joined QPR back in the summer of 2016 and in his time with us he made only eleven starts and three substitute appearances, and with manager Ian Holloway clearing the decks somewhat this month many wondered with such little game time and only two showings whether he would be part of that clear out.

The club statement released simply confirmed that the decision was by ‘mutual consent’ and the club wished him well for the future.

Having spent the second half of last season out on loan with Lechia Gdansk it did seem really his time was up and the club although some will no doubt ask why a nominal fee transfer wasn’t on the cards.
