Danny S**ttu is once again the transfer target of Championship high fliers Sheffield United after the Bramall Lane club faxed an enquiry to Rangers.

S**ttu was linked last season with a move to the red side of Sheffield as well as being watched by Premiership sides Everton and Charlton, and following United?s signing of Ade Akinbiyi, United boss Neil Warnock has turned his attentions to the Nigerian giant.

Since signing from Charlton in 2001, ?Big Dan? as he is so warmly recognised, has grown into one of Rangers? best defenders in the past 10 years and has filled in as captain since Kevin Gallen was injured nearly 3 months ago.

The Nigerian international, still only 25 years of age, has said before he would love to play in the Premiership but also admitted he would love to achieve the feat with Rangers but following some inconsistent performances from the Hoops and some ongoing financial troubles the defender could be let go if the price is right.

Rangers will most definitely not let there most prized asset leave the club for anything less than £750,000 and may hold out for a deal which passes the million amount should the club need to sell.

But Vital QPR understand that the initial enquiry was rejected without a second thought and S**ttu himself is happy to stay at Loftus Road in the near future.
