SEBASTIEN Bassong’s proposed move to QPR has hit the rocks

A deal that was mooted throughout the evening has now unfortunately ground to a halt due to Tottenham Hotspur not being able to source a replacement.

Bassong was poised for a move to W12 only for Spurs to fail in their efforts for Bolton Wanderers talisman Gary Cahill.

Harry expressed his disappointment for Neil Warnock to Sky Sports:

“When we couldn’t get Cahill we had to pull the plug on Seb going to QPR.

“It was a bit unfortunate for Neil Warnock and I felt sorry for Neil because he was looking to sign Seb on a loan deal or semi-permanent deal almost.

“Once Gary Cahill fell through we couldn’t let him go.”
