JOEY Barton will serve a one match suspension following his fifth yellow card against Stoke City
The midfielder has been booked three times for QPR this season against Chelsea, Manchester City and Stoke City and these combined with his two cautions for Newcastle ensures he misses the trip to Carrow Road.
It will be the first match Barton has missed since his debut, making nine appearances for Rangers during his spell thus far.
Shaun Derry, who has been sidelined due to a shift in formation, looks set to come in alongside the exemplarary Alejandro Faurlín in the heart of midfield.
