Barton Departs For France

JOEY Barton has signed a season long loan deal at French side Marseille.

Barton who has made no secret of desire to leave W12 joins up with the Ligue 1 outfit in a deal that will unfortunately not affect his ban.

Joey will still be forced to serve a ten game ban on his return to the UK in a year’s time but now at least has his ‘dream move’ as he heads for pastures new.
