Barnet boss Ian Hendon has expressed his desire to bring back Jake Cole on a permanent basis following the end of his loan agreement.

Cole returns to Loftus Road today after becoming a big hit with the Barnet supporters after taking the goalkeepers jersey from Rob Beckwith.

Manager Ian Hendon is hopeful that a permanent deal can come to fruition as he spoke to barnetfc.com:

‘I am more than grateful for the role he has played in ensuring our safety … I have spoken to him and am hopeful that we can sign him permanently’.

Cole made ten appearances for the Bees and played alongside former Rangers forward Paul Furlong as the north London outfit ensured their Football League survival.

The keeper who came up through the youth set-up in W12 had recently fallen behind youngster Reece Crowther in the pecking order after a succession of unfortunate injuries.
