VITAL QPR have learnt that young stiker Shabazz Baidoo has rejected an offer from Rangers for his first professional contract.

Baidoo turns 18 in two week’s time and was offered a deal by Rangers caretaker manager Gary Waddock last month but has since been advised to turn down the deal.

His representatives believe that the pacey forward deserves a better deal and have refused to cooperate until the club offer an improved deal.

The news has only intensified the recent rumours that Baidoo will not be kept on in the summer when his scholar deal expires.

Watford have been watching the progress and are thought to be keen to gamble on the youngster should the situation not be solved.
