Ashley Young Wants A Favour

ASHLEY Young takes centre stage as the most misguided human being in existence as he asks QPR for a favour.

Young – who cheated QPR in the loss at Old Trafford earlier this year – hopes QPR can do him and his team-mates a favour by taking something from Manchester City this weekend.

Either deluded or desperate Young told the Daily Telegraph: ‘It’s disappointing we didn’t score more goals as it looked like we could’ve done but we’ve still got to have faith QPR can do us a favour.

‘It comes down to the last day now and of course it will be disappointing, especially if it goes down to goal difference, and we lose it. I don’t want to think of any negativity, we’ve got to think positively. Fingers crossed, QPR will do us a favour and we will win the title.

‘I’m sure Mark Hughes doesn’t want to go there and lose as they have to get a point for safety. So I’m sure he’ll set his side out in the week to go there and do the best they can and hopefully they’ll do that for us.

‘Maybe Rio [Ferdinand] can speak to his brother [Anton, about the game] but we’ll just have to wait and see.’

Young came under the spotlight in Manchester United’s 2-0 home victory over Rangers when his flagrant act of simulation not only cost QPR parity in the fixture, but also a match ban for midfield talisman Shaun Derry.

Worse still to come when he repeated his Swan Lake antics against Aston Villa in the very next fixture.

Young now wants QPR to claim something at the Etihad for his and his team-mates’ sake after they threw away a resounding advantage at the summit of the Premier League table.

Rangers need a point themselves to ensure Premier League safety, but may get by with nothing at all should Stoke City take anything from their fixture with Bolton Wanderers at the Britannia Stadium.
