On Tuesday evening, Queens Park Rangers ended their seven game losing streak by taking a somewhat unexpected victory over high flying Leeds United at Loftus Road.
After a goalless opening 45 minutes, Luke Freeman broke the deadlock shortly into the second half and with us keeping a clean sheet, we took all three points available from the Championship clash.
With a number of positives coming out of the game and obvious relief for manager Steve McClaren with the pressure building on him given the run of results, QPR chairman Amit Bhatia had reason to smile of his own.
Taking to social media following the game as he often does, Bhatia probably summed up the feeling of many fans where he posted five simple words – “39 points no more cheers”.

Reacting to his Tweet, fans were obviously delighted with the evening’s work and they joined him in toasting the victory and Freeman.
