Darren Ambrose is on the verge of moving to Loftus Road – should Crystal Palace not find a buyer by next week.
The Croydon Guardian and the South London Press are both reporting that Palace are about to hit breaking point regarding offers for targets Ambrose and ‘keeper Speroni.
With the season now finalised and no regular income to sustain the club through the summer, sales seem inevitable in SE25 and the R’s are in the race to sign the keenly-fought duo.
A fee of £750,000 has been touted for the former Newcastle United and Ipswich Town wide-man, and a potential deal would go through if Palace don’t find a buyer by next week.
