A Poor QPR Showing Sees This Man Take Our Top Rating & MotM

|

Queens Park Rangers’ unexpected promotion hopes took a bit of a knock against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane at the weekend.

A game of few chances was only slightly edged by the hosts as they made one of their two chances count as David McGoldrick opened the scoring late on in the first half, and in keeping the clean sheet they took all three points to move into the automatic promotion slots.

The performance was QPR wasn’t a disaster, we just didn’t have the attacking spark that many will have become used to – it was flat whilst being full of effort. We all know we’ll have games like this though.

The only player to get a match rating in the sevens obviously became statistics website Whoscored’s Man of the Match from the game.

Although they were only in the sixes, the top five best performers from the day were completed by Toni Leistner (6.97), Joel Lynch (6.84), Ebere Eze (6.84) and Pawel Wszolek (6.80).

Dust ourselves down and go again.
