This might be of interest to Queens Park Rangers fans – our friends over at Vital Villa clued me into this a while back when they published a piece concerning Financial Fair Play and the reported £40million blackhole they face following the failure to secure promotion back to the Premier League in 2017/18.

I’ll make no bones about it, it’s from a Villa perspective dealing with their issues, and like me, the lad who wrote it is not an expert on Financial Fair Play – he just does his best to muddy through it as every fan does to varying degrees of success – but in light of what I’ve already posted concerning our own issues with FFP, large parts of this hit the nail on the head for me.

I’m also pleased to see, despite the bias on show and the fact he thinks we were always onto a loser, he actually applauds us for challenging in the first place – history shows Villa were one of the Premier League clubs at the inception of FFP to vote against its introduction as an aside.

My piece was – Here.
