7 Shots, 46 Touches & 25% Pass Accuracy, But 29 Y/o Still Takes QPR MotM

|

Having been heavily beaten in his first caretaker game in charge following the sacking of Steve McClaren, John Eustace had some reason for joy in last night’s Championship clash with Millwall at The Den.

QPR created the far better chances on the day, although the hosts edged possession, but with direct efforts on target shared, a point was probably the fairer result – although if a moment of magic was likely to break the deadlock, it should’ve gone our way.

Statistics website Whoscored were incredibly positive in their player ratings after our efforts, but Matt Smith took Man of the Match with a score of 8.01 for his efforts on the night.

Completing the top five on the day were goalkeeper Joe Lumley (7.52), Luke Freeman (7.31), Joel Lynch (7.29) and Ryan Manning (7.29).

Special mentions for Toni Leistner and Geoff Cameron who also received seven and above scores on the night.

Onto Saturday’s clash with Swansea City and hopefully the win – or will we have a new gaffer by then? Maybe not?
