50 Touches & 5 Key Passes See This QPR Man Take MotM From Derby

|

On Saturday afternoon Queens Park Rangers took a pretty creditable draw from Derby County as we hosted them at Loftus Road for our latest Championship action.

Despite the visitors taking the lead midway through the first half, on loan Geoff Cameron had us back on level terms within a few minutes of the halftime restart and we battled on to take a point from Frank Lampard’s boys.

Statistics website WhoScored gave Cameron a match rating of 8.00 immediately post-game following his equalising goal on the day, but fellow loanee Nahki Wells polled slightly better for his assist and overall contribution and picked up 8.22. He also hit the woodwork in the game.

Wells’ star man rating was well deserved and he’s certainly had an impact in helping us to turn our form around somewhat since he arrived from Burnley back in August, but at least as far as this game goes, the top five best performers were completed by Joel Lynch (7.50) in third, Angel Rangel (6.92) and Tony Leistner (6.77).

Another point and on we plod.
